Practical help when you do not have a safe or stable place to stay.
The Churchill Neighbourhood Centre supports people who are sleeping rough, staying in a vehicle, couch surfing, living in temporary accommodation or at risk of homelessness.
The Churchill Neighbourhood Centre offers a wide range of practical support and can help connect people with other community services.
To keep all information current and in one place, our available support options are listed at:
churchill.org.au/support
The Support Service Triage at the bottom of that page can help you find services based on your circumstances and the assistance you need.
Subject to availability, the Churchill Neighbourhood Centre may be able to provide sleeping bags and pillows with clean pillowcases to people without safe accommodation.
Supplies are limited and depend on donations and available funding. We cannot guarantee that items will be available when requested.
Please contact the Centre or speak with a staff member or volunteer during opening hours.
The Churchill Neighbourhood Centre does not operate a shelter and does not have direct access to shelter beds or emergency accommodation.
We cannot arrange or guarantee accommodation, housing placements, hotel rooms or motel rooms.
Please use our Support Service Triage to find appropriate housing, crisis and community services.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call Triple Zero on 000.
While we don't charge you to access, we fundraise to run this service.
Please consider making a donation.
