Gambler’s Help

Gambler’s Help provides free and confidential advice, counselling and support throughout Victoria.

Support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for:

• People concerned about their own gambling

• Partners, family members and friends

• People experiencing gambling-related debt

• Anyone considering reducing or stopping gambling

• People interested in self-exclusion

Local Support Through LCHS

Latrobe Community Health Service provides free Gambler’s Help services across Gippsland, including Churchill.

Support includes:

• Therapeutic counselling

• Financial counselling

• Support to reduce or stop gambling

• Help understanding gambling-related debt

• Self-exclusion assistance

• Support for couples and families

• Referrals to other health and community services

Appointments may be available face-to-face or by telephone.

Support for Families and Friends

Family Drug and Gambling Help provides practical support to people affected by someone else’s gambling.

Its 24-hour helpline is staffed by people who understand the impact gambling can have on families.

Self exclusion

Self-exclusion can help create a barrier between you and gambling.

BetStop is Australia’s free National Self-Exclusion Register. It can block access to all Australian licensed online and telephone wagering services.
