Dolly Parton created the Imagination Library to help children grow up surrounded by books, regardless of their family’s income.
The books are carefully selected to suit each stage of a child’s development. Over time, participating children can build their own home library while families create regular opportunities to read, learn and spend time together.
How it works
How it works
Check your child’s eligibility and complete the online registration.
Your registration will be reviewed by the program.
Once approved, books will begin arriving by post.
Your child will receive a different age-appropriate book each month.
The first book may take several weeks to arrive because books are prepared and ordered in advance.
